Season of IIT placements with millions in compensation promises (Campus Placement). Huge employment offers came to the students here despite worries that widespread layoffs and the economic downturn in global corporations might backfire.
IIT Guwahati
84 firms have submitted 290 offers so far. A salary of Rs 1 crore every year for five of them. There have been offers from organizations including Microsoft, Google, Uber, and American Express. 21% more than the previous year.
IIT Madras
A Rs. 2,500 annual prize was made available to at least 25 pupils. It received 407 pre-placements last year; this year, that number increased by 10%. The leading bidders include companies like Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Qualcomm, and JP Morgan.
