U.S market where in legal troubles for electric car maker Tesla doesn’t seem to end. Tesla has been sued in a proposed class action lawsuit that accused electric car maker owned by Elon Musk. For misleading public by falsely advertising its autopilot and full self-driving features.
The complaint accused Tesla and Musk of having since 2016 false advertise technology as fully functioning. The lawsuit filed in federal court in San Francisco seeks unspecified damages for people who since 2016 bought or at least Tesla vehicles with autopilot.
Enhanced autopilot and full self-driving features are there, lawsuit followed complaints filed on in July 28 by Californians Department of motor vehicles. Since 2016 U.S Road Safety regulator has opened 38 special investigations of Tesla crashes which were believed to involve ADAS system which 19 deaths were reported in those crashes.
