Josh’s Pappan is the film that gave Suresh Gopi a huge comeback at the box office. This crime thriller category film hit the theaters on July 29. The OTT release of the movie which gained attention in the theatres has been waiting since then. Earlier it was reported that film will be released on the popular platform Zee 5. But released date was not finalized. Now the release date of the film has been officially announced.
The film will be premiere on Zee 5 on Uthrada day, September 7. Zee Kerala has acquired the OTT and satellite rights of the film for a huge amount. Suresh Gopi’s star power has been used well and the film has won the hearts of the audience. The film was written by RJ Shan.
The film collected 3.16 crores from Kerala on the first day of its release. The first week collection from Kerala was 17.85 crore. As per estimate released by the makers the film collected 31.43 crores from 10 days global gross after foreign and non-state releases. Even in adverse conditions including rain the film received a good response.
The makers had already announced that the film has entered the 50 crore club by adding the gross at the global box office. And the amount earned through OTT and satellite rights.
