Crew protest against the subtitle of ‘Thallumaala’ streaming on Netflix. The crew noted that the subtitles they gave to Netflix were cut and destroyed by adding water and they are very sad about it. The crew added that the spirit of the dialogues has been lost by editing subtitles without permission.
‘Thallumaala’ is one of the most successful Malayalam films in recent times. Film is directed by Khalid Rahman starring Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan is the female lead. After a month of theatrical release, the film was released as an OTT release on Netflix.
The film is written by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamza. Produced by Aashiq Usman under the banner of Aashiq Usman Productions. Shine Tom Chacko, Lukman, Chemban Vinod Jose, Johny Antony, Austin and Asim Jamal are playing the other main characters. Tovino’s lead character is called Manavalan Wasim and Kalyani’s character name is Beepathu. The major scenes of the movie were shot in Dubai, Kannur and Thalassery.
