After India’s defeat in the Twenty20 World Cup, Malayalee player Sanju Samson started trending on Twitter. In the World Cup team, the fans demanded on Twitter that batsmen like Sanju should be in the squad and at least young players should be given a chance in the team. Media worker Rajdeep Sardesai has requested that Sanju be included in the team in Twitter posts.
Fans vented out their anger on Twitter after India lost T20 World Cup and not selected Sanju Samson on India squad.
England beat India by ten wickets in the semi-final. After losing the toss and batting, India scored 168 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, England won without losing a wicket in just 16 overs. Captain Jos Buttler (80* off 49 balls) and Alex Hales (86* off 47 balls) scored fifties for England.
