Sanju Samson’s exclusion from the Indian team for the ODI series against Sri Lanka drew a lot of ire. Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) will be played between Team India and Sri Lanka. The final game was slated to take place at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield Stadium. Sanju’s wish to play at home was also frustrated by this. Shashi Tharoor and others spoke out in opposition to the selectors choice to leave Sanju out.
Tharoor recently shared Sanju’s ODI average for 2022 in a tweet. In his most recent tweet, he stated: “I have seen such information. I concur with this. What must Sanju accomplish in order to be included in the Indian ODI team?” Tharoor questioned.
On his Facebook page, he shared the same article as well. He copied the post and posted it to Facebook today as well. However, the major Indian team rival to Sanju, Rishabh Pant, was hurt in a car accident this morning. With that, the topic of Tharoor’s post is raised once more. At least a few people had a different interpretation of Tharoor’s tweet. Tharoor’s post is receiving a stream of negative remarks as well.
